Payment, Pricing and Sales Tax
Orders are paid in full at checkout by card. There are no purchase orders, net terms or invoices to set up. This page covers the accepted payment methods, the order minimum, how prices are set, sales tax, and resale and exemption certificates.

1.Accepted payment methods
We accept credit and debit cards at checkout, and Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link where your device offers them, processed by Stripe. Payment is taken in full when you place the order. We do not accept purchase orders, net terms, invoicing, checks, wire transfers or cash on delivery, and we do not ship against a purchase order.
Card details are entered in Stripe's secure payment form on our checkout page and go straight to Stripe, never to our systems; we see only the card brand, the last four digits and the billing address, which appear on your receipt.
2.Order minimum
The minimum order is $20 of merchandise before shipping. The cart shows how much to add when it is below the minimum.
3.How prices are set
Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and any applicable sales tax. They are reviewed every week against the copper market and competing offers, and may change without notice; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place the order. Where a product page shows lower per foot prices for longer lengths, they apply to the length of one line. A spool never costs more per foot than a cut of the same length.
A product shown as price on request is sold by quote only. Quantities over 2,500 ft on one line and carts over $5,000 can be quoted, often at a better price than the Site shows.
4.Pricing and description errors
If a product was listed at an obviously incorrect price, or with a materially wrong description, we may cancel the order before it ships and refund it in full, or offer the product at the correct price and cancel if you decline. The full rule is section 5 of the Terms of Sale and Use.
5.Quotes
A quote lists the products, quantities, prices and shipping for the order and is valid for the period stated on it. It comes with a payment link; the order is placed when the quote is paid, and it is then handled like any other order. Prices on an expired quote are not held.
6.Sales tax
Sales tax is charged at checkout where we are registered and required to collect it, and it is shown before you pay. Where no tax is charged at checkout, you remain responsible for any sales or use tax your state requires on the purchase. Nothing on the Site is tax advice.
7.Resale and tax exemption certificates
If you are buying for resale or hold an exemption, email a copy of your resale or exemption certificate to sales@wirewombat.com before you order, with the state it was issued in, the certificate number and the exact business name and address it covers. We confirm how the order is placed so that tax is not charged where the certificate applies.
8.Your card statement and receipt
The charge appears on your card statement as FMV* WIREWOMBAT. An itemized receipt is emailed to the address on the order as soon as the payment clears, and we can resend it on request. We do not issue paper invoices.
9.Declined payments and chargebacks
A payment that is declined or reversed means no order is placed, or an accepted order is canceled. If you have a problem with a charge, contact us before disputing it with your card issuer: a refund we issue reaches you faster than a dispute does, and most problems are solved in a day or two.
